Every week, running backs are some of the most productive performers in fantasy football. By nature of the position, though, the running back landscape is one of the fastest changing of any position from week to week due to injuries, uncertainty, and constantly changing roles as timeshares shift. In Week 7, bye weeks continue with two more teams getting the week off, leaving 30 teams on the board. With Monday’s results still pending, Rico Dowdle (36.9 FPTS) led the way at the position for the second straight week. He stepped up again in the absence of Chuba Hubbard (calf) and smashed his former team, the Cowboys. Dowdle’s second straight performance with 200+ total yards put him at the top of the leaderboard with De’Von Achane (34 FPTS), Josh Jacobs (32 FPTS), Cam Skattebo (31 FPTS), Jonathan Taylor (26.7 FPTS) and Kimani Vidal (25.8 FPTS) also posting over 25 fantasy points.
While there are still a few key running backs playing on Monday, it’s not too early to start looking ahead to what to do in your Week 7 lineup. Even with the Bills and Ravens on bye weeks, plenty of strong options are still in play.
