St.Brown has continued to be one of the best receivers in the NFL this season, ranking second in receptions (35) and fifth in receiving yards (407). The 25-year-old has been particularly efficient in the first quarter of contests. St. Brown ranks second in the NFL in first-quarter receiving yards (181), and he has produced at least 18 first-quarter receiving yards in four of his five games, including an 84-yard explosion in the first frame of the Lions’ Week 2 win over the Bears.

While running a route on 96% of his team’s dropbacks, St. Brown is leading the Lions with a 29.3% target share this season, and that number has been at an even higher level in the first quarter of contests at 34.4%, which is the seventh-highest first-quarter target share in the league.

While this is an average matchup, with the Chiefs allowing the 15th-most yards per pass in the NFL (6.8), this game’s huge 52.5-point total is the largest the NFL has had this season. This game should be a fast-paced shootout, and St. Brown should cruise past 13.5 receiving yards in the first quarter of this tilt.
