As if this New York Giants season couldn’t get more frustrating, their wide receivers are dropping like flies. Malik Nabers’ ACL was the latest victim of the MetLife Stadium turf. Darius Slayton was ruled out for Thursday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. That puts a massive burden on Giants receiver Wan’Dale Robinson to shoulder the load on TNF.
It also makes him a fascinating prop bet target.
Philadelphia is a seven-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook, with the point total set to 40.5. Below, I’ve detailed my favorite prop bets centered around Goedert.
Best Wan’Dale Robinson Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Wan’Dale Robinson Over 43.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
After Wan’Dale’s explosion in Week 2 against the Cowboys, things have been quiet. That 142-yard scorcher has been followed by a total of 70 yards in three games. Rolling with Jaxson Dart hasn’t helped things; the rookie has thrown for just 313 yards over his first two games.
But, eventually, volume has to give — and there’s simply no one else out there for Dart to throw to. Wan’Dale will likely receive a lot of defensive attention, but also a significant number of targets. It’s also likely that the Eagles will pay a ton of attention to the run game, with Cam Skattebo looking like New York’s best source of offense. If they dare Dart to throw the ball, that means looking Robinson’s way. And he’s more than capable of making a big play.
It may not be the prettiest game, but the combination of volume and Philadelphia’s game plan gives me confidence that Robinson can put up a respectable line. Count on Wan’Dale to rack up a solid amount of catches and get loose enough to convert on this line.
