Philadelphia’s receiving core has been the subject of much debate during this season. A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith are unhappy with their usage, and things are bubbling over into the media. But Dallas Goedert continues to chug along as a reliable outlet for quarterback Jalen Hurts. Thursday’s game against the Giants is another chance for the veteran tight end to prove his worth.
Philadelphia is a seven-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook, with the point total set to 40.5. Below, I’ve detailed my favorite prop bets centered around Goedert.
Best Dallas Goedert Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Dallas Goedert Under 33.5 Receiving Yards
Goedert has been awfully reliable in the red zone this season, catching four touchdowns in four games. But, other than that, he’s used more as a security blanket. The 30-year-old is averaging only 33.3 yards per game on the year, and has maxed out at only 44 yards. He’s reliable, but not providing the upside that he used to bring to this Eagles offense.
The Giants have been strong against tight ends this year. Cowboys starting tight end Jake Ferguson is the only TE1 to eclipse 30 yards in a game against New York this season. Goedert may get some work in the red zone, but don’t count on him for big-time production between the 20s.
