Opening Odds for Tigers vs. Mariners Game 5 of 2025 ALDS

The Tigers beat the Mariners 9-3 in Game 4 of this ALDS series to force a series finale Game 5 on Friday. Seattle got off to a 3-0 lead and looked to be heading to the ALCS before Detroit scored nine straight runs to win the game and even the series at 2-2.

The Tigers open as -132 road favorites for Game 5 on DraftKings Sportsbook, with the Mariners +109 home underdogs. The run total is set at O/U 6. The game is slated to start at 4:40 p.m. ET.

The Tigers are going to Tarik Skubal in this all-important Game 5. Skubal has pitched twice so far in this postseason, allowing only eight hits and three runs in 14.2 innings. He has struck out 23 batters while only giving up three walks. Tigers fans will be relieved to see their best pitcher on the mound when the stakes are the highest.

As of writing, the Mariners have not announced their starting pitcher for this game. Despite being underdogs in this one, Seattle does have better odds to win the World Series at +600, compared to the Tigers at +900 on DraftKings Sportsbook.
