UPDATE: Brenton Strange (hip) won’t return Monday.
Brenton Strange is questionable to return to the Jacksonville Jaguars’ Week 5 Monday Night Football game against the Kansas City Chiefs due to injury.
During the second quarter, the third-year tight end headed to the medical tent and missed the last few plays of the first half. He’s been ruled questionable to return due to a hip issue.
Before exiting, Strange caught his lone target for 22 yards.
Strange is in the midst of the best season of his young career and first as the clear-cut starter for the Jaguars. He’s caught 20 of his 24 targets for 204 yards thus far as a trusted target for quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
