Running backs are some of the most dynamic performers in fantasy football, and the running back landscape is one of the fastest changing landscape from week to week due to injuries, uncertainty and constantly changing roles as timeshares shift. In Week 6, bye weeks continue with two more teams gettig the week off, leaving 30 teams in action. To help you keep track of all the latest running back shifts, you can find my top 30 RB rankings for Week 6 listed below.
In Week 5, it was Rico Dowdle (32.4 FPTS) who made the most of increased opportunities and stepped up with a monster game as the top running back of the week coming into Monday night. Jonathan Taylor (31.6 FPTS), Kyren Williams (31.1 FPTS) and Christian McCaffrey (27.9 FPTS) continued their strong seasons wth more bit weeks, while rookie Jacory Croskey-Merritt (27 FPTS) went off against the Chargers to also post a top-five finish. Rachaad White (23.1 FPTS) and Michael Carter (18.1 FPTS) also had top-10 weeks after emerging as starting options in the middle of the week.
While there are still a few key running backs playing on Monday, it’s not too early to start looking ahead to what to do in your Week 6 lineup. With the Texans and Vikings on bye weeks, plenty of strong options are still in play.
