The final game of Week 5 will take place in Jacksonville on Monday night as the Chiefs face the Jaguars.
After a disappointing injury-plagued 2024 season, Hollywood Brown looks to be back to his old self. Through four games, the former Raven and Cardinal leads Kansas City in targets, receptions and receiving yards. With Rashee Rice suspended and Xavier Worthy battling injury, Brown has stepped up as the interim WR1 of this team.
Now, Kansas City heads to Jacksonville on Monday night hoping to get its record over .500 for the first time this season. Will the Jaguars be able to contain Brown, or is another solid performance on the way?

Hollywood Brown has gone over this total in three of four games so far this season and I think he will hit the over on this mark again in Week 5.
When you look at the strength of this Jaguars defense, it’s stopping the run as they rank third in rush yards allowed per game. On the flip side, Jacksonville ranks 23rd in the league against the pass. That’s bad news for Jags fans, as the strength of the Chiefs’ offense is certainly not running the ball, as Patrick Mahomes surprisingly leads the team in rushing through four weeks. Kansas City are in the top half of the league in passing yards per game, so their game plan for Monday night should be pretty simple. Put the ball in Mahomes’ hands and let him sling it.
Hollywood Brown should benefit from this game script, and 36.5 seems like way too low of a total. There are also injury concerns around Xavier Worthy, leaving Brown as the clear go to guy. As I mentioned earlier, Brown has cleared this total in three of four games while averaging just over 52 receiving yards per game. He is also seeing a healthy amount of targets, recording at least five in every contest.
I think Mahomes and company are going to have a lot of success through the air on Monday night, and Brown should be a huge part of that.
