Run-first football is back in style in the Midwest as these teams clash, so strap in and get ready for a fun one to start the day.
Here’s the best player prop bets for Michigan vs. Wisconsin on Saturday in Week 6 of the 2025 college football season.
Michigan vs. Wisconsin prop bets
Justice Haynes 100+ rushing yards (-131)
Michigan halfback Justice Haynes looks like one of the best players at his position in the entire sport, but is anyone really surprised by that? With 537 yards and six touchdowns on his 66 carries, he sits sixth among all running backs in yardage while averaging a hyper-efficient 8.1 yards per attempt. With explosiveness and breakaway speed in a 5-foot-11, 210-pound package, Haynes has tallied at least 100 rushing yards in all four of his appearances this season with lines of 104, 125 149 and 154. He’s also broken some massive runs in that span with a longest rush of 59 in one of those games and a 75-yarder in two of them.
Wisconsin boasts the nation’s best run defense with just 200 rushing yards allowed across four games, an average of 50 yards per contest, but Haynes is a next-level talent who can break through the cracks. He sees a great share of touches with 16 or more in three contests and 14 rush attempts in the other one, and in this run-heavy offense, you can bet he’ll get the ball plenty against a Big Ten opponent. Watch for him to rumble for another long score and tally 100+ rushing yards for the fifth straight outing.
Lance Mason 40+ receiving yards (+110)
The Badgers average just 205.8 passing yards per contest thus far, but against a strong Michigan team, they’ll likely end up forced to air the ball out to keep up. Over the last three weeks, tight end Lance Mason has emerged as a standout option in the receiving game. He broke out with seven catches for 102 yards and a touchdown against Middle Tennessee State in Week 2, then hauled in five catches for 45 yards and a score in Week 4 against Maryland. His 14 catches, 177 yards and two receiving touchdowns are all team-highs for Wisconsin, and at 6-foot-4 and 250 pounds, he’s a large target for his quarterback.
While the Wolverines are a quality team, their pass defense allows 213.8 yards per game which ranks in the middle of the pack nationally. They’re not unbeatable through the air, and as mentioned earlier, the game script means Wisconsin may need to throw the ball more than usual to try and keep the contest competitive. That helps boost the case for Mason to tally 40 or more receiving yards, but regardless, he’s a focus of the offense and will remain so on Saturday.
