Prediction, pick for Macy Chiasson vs. Yana Santos at UFC 320

The final bout of the Early Prelims on UFC 320 is a Women’s Bantamweight contest between No. 5 Macy Chiasson vs. No. 10 Yana Santos. Santos is riding a two-fight win streak while Chiasson recently lost to Ketlen Vieira in May. UFC 320 is headlined by Magomed Ankalaev vs. Alex Pereira 2 for the 205-pound title and Merab Dvalishvili vs. Cory Sandhagen for the Bantamweight title.

Yana Santos Moneyline (+164)

On DraftKings Sportsbook, Chiasson is a -198 favorite while Santos is a +164 underdog. In this fight, Chiasson does have the physical advantages, including height (5’11” vs. 5’6″) and reach (72″ vs. 68″), but the stats favor Santos. On the feet, Santos lands significant strikes at an impressive 58 percent rate while averaging 0.93 more than Chiasson.

Chiasson averages more takedowns per 15 minutes, but Santos has a 53 percent takedown defense. If Santos can make this a striking battle for the majority of the contest, she has an excellent opportunity to pull off the upset and move closer to a title shot. Santos most recently beat former champion Miesha Tate and has won two consecutive bouts for the first time since 2021. Getting Santos at +164 on DraftKings Sportsbook is my favorite bet for this fight because of her elite striking ability.
