UFC 320 is taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the T-Mobile Arena and is headlined by a Light Heavyweight Championship fight between Magomed Ankalaev vs. Alex Pereira. An intriguing bout on the Prelims of this card is a Middleweight contest between Edmen Shahbazyan and Andre Muniz.
I break down my best bet for this fight at UFC 320 right here.
Edmen Shahbazyan to Win in Rounds 1-2 (-160)
Edmen Shahbazyan has won two straight fights for the first time since 2019, following a victory against Andre Petroski in June. He beat Petroski by decision, which was only the second win by decision of his 15 career victories. His opponent, Muniz, has lost three of his previous four contests by KO/TKO or submission.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Shahbazyan is a -325 favorite with Munix being the underdog at +260. Since Shahbazyan is such an elite finisher, he is even -200 to beat Muniz via submission or knockout. With that being said, it is best to get Shahbazyan to win in the first two rounds at -160.
That is because 13 of Shahbazyan’s 15 wins have come in the first two rounds in his MMA career. Especially after his first win by decision in seven years, Shahbazyan should enter the cage at UFC 320 hunting a finish as he normally does. If Shahbazyan can beat Muniz in impressive fashion, there is a chance he could be ranked in the UFC’s Middleweight top-15 next week.
