One of the fastest rising prospects in the UFC, Ateba Gautier, is back and will face Treston Vines after Ozzy Diaz withdrew from the contest due to health reasons. Gautier is 2-0 in the UFC with two first-round knockouts, while Vines posts a 10-3 record with seven finishes in his career.

Here is my best bet for the featured prelim bout of UFC 320, Ateba Gautier vs. Treston Vines.

Ateba Gautier to Win by KO/TKO/DQ in Round 1 (-360)

Gautier is from Cameroon, but trains at Manchester Top Team, the home of Frank Mir and Lerone Murphy. He has won seven straight fights by a knockout in the first or second round. At 23 years old, Gautier appears to have an extremely bright future in the UFC. Gautier’s combination of size and power is unbelievable, especially for a fighter who is so young and only four years into his career.

Facing someone as dangerous as Gautier on four days’ notice is a difficult task for Vines. In this matchup, Gautier is four inches taller (6’4″ vs. 6’0″) than Vines. This will allow Gautier to control the distance and pace of the fight, which gives him a significantly larger edge.

On DraftKings Sportsbook, Gautier is a -1800 and is the largest favorite on UFC 320. Gautier is also -1000 to win this contest by knockout. With Gautier being such a massive favorite in this matchup, getting him at -260 to win by KO/TKO/DQ in the first round seems like the play. Gautier has won seven straight fights, and six of them have been first-round finishes.
