The fifth Sunday of the 2025 NFL season is right around the corner! It’s time to lock in on one of the most popular betting markets out there. Here are my top anytime TD scorer picks on DraftKings Sportsbook in Week 5.
Cam Skattebo (-120) at Saints
Analytics hate to see Cam Skattebo coming.
I don’t want to hear anything about a heavy college workload, athletic profile, a lack of long speed, etc. Skattebo is going to take the ball and attempt to run over anyone in his path. So far in his NFL career, he’s been pretty successful doing just that.
The Arizona State (and Sacramento State) product is coming off his largest workload of the season following Tyrone Tracy’s injury. Skattebo emerged as the undisputed bellcow and took 25 carries for 79 yards against an elite Chargers defense. He didn’t find the end zone in that outing, but was able to score in each of his prior two contests.
Skattebo has been surprisingly efficient behind a shaky offensive line, also getting involved in the passing game. With Malik Nabers done for the year, Brian Daboll will now turn to his two rookies in Skattebo and Jaxson Dart to rack up yardage and points on the ground. The 23-year-old has a great shot at finding the end zone against an underwhelming Saints run defense.
Amon-Ra St. Brown (-105) at Bengals
In case you haven’t noticed, Amon-Ra St. Brown has lived in the end zone lately. Over Detroit’s last three contests, the star receiver has racked up a ridiculous six touchdowns.
St. Brown’s absurd scoring efficiency can be chalked up to his standing as arguably the NFL’s best red zone threat, which is nothing new. In 2024, he led all receivers in RZ touchdowns and was second in RZ targets, only behind Ja’Marr Chase. Through four weeks, Amon-Ra is in a league of his own. Last year’s First Team All-Pro has racked up a league-high 10 red zone targets over four games. He’s caught eight of those balls, with six of them resulting in a score.

This week, Detroit takes on one of the worst secondaries in the NFL. Cincinnati allows the third-most passing yards per game, setting the stage for another huge performance by St. Brown.
Michael Carter (+115) vs. Titans
Ah, yes. The Week 5 Emari Demercado vs. Michael Carter RB1 debate we all anticipated.
Arizona’s backfield has been hammered by injuries only a few weeks into the season, with James Conner out for the year and Trey Benson heading to IR. That leaves an obvious hole for someone to step up, and the Cardinals have two intriguing options. Demercado has operated as the clear pass-catching back following Conner’s injury, but Carter has experience leading the backfield for this team.
Over the last two matchups of the 2024 season, Carter got his chance to be Arizona’s bellcow and didn’t disappoint, taking 30 carries for 143 yards and a touchdown, also catching six balls. The fifth-year back has also declared himself the starter ahead of Sunday’s tilt against a porous Tennessee run defense. Even if that doesn’t prove to be technically true, I expect Carter to receive a bulk of the carries and almost all of the goal-line work.
