The 2025 American Pharoah Stakes presented by DK Horse is occurring at the Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California, and this year’s race is the 57th edition of this event, as stated in 1970.

This event has had many different names over the years, including the Norfilk Stakes and the FrontRunner Stakes. In 2018, it was renamed after American Pharoah, who won the Triple Crown in 2015. Trainer Bob Baffert has dominated this event, having won it 13 times, including the previous four years. Baffert is presenting four of the six horses in this race: Desert Gate, Plutarch, Balboa, and Kristofferson.
