Matthew Stafford leads the league with 1,503 passing yards, but he’s already played five games. Stafford has attempted the most passes (183), Drake Maye has the highest completion percentage at 74%, Stafford has thrown the most touchdowns (11), and Jalen Hurts leads all quarterbacks with 179 rushing yards. Geno Smith has thrown the most interceptions (seven), Cam Ward has taken the most sacks (17), Stafford has completed the most passes over 20 yards (24), and Daniel Jones leads the league with four completed passes over 40 yards. Finally, Stafford has the longest completion at 88 yards.

5. Jared Goff ($6,500) & Amon-Ra St. Brown ($7,900), Lions at Bengals
Ruh roh, Jared Goff is playing outdoors this week, but it’s against the Joe Burrow-less Bengals. The Cincinnati defense has the fourth-lowest pressure rate and blitzes at the lowest rate in the league. The EPA per dropback is 0.05, the 11th-highest mark.
There are concerns, though, as Cincinnati may not muster much on offense, which would dial down Detroit’s aggressiveness. In addition, the Lions could just ground-and-pound the Bengals into submission.
St. Brown leads the Lions with 32 targets and has had 10 red zone opportunites. After the 8.5-FPTS debacle in Week 1, St. Brown has put up 42.2, 20.7 and 26 FPTS.
This stack is expensive but I keep it on the list because it wouldn’t surprise me if Goff throws four touchdowns.
4. Bryce Young ($4,700) & Tetairoa McMillan ($5,700), Panthers vs. Dolphins
Bryce Young has put up around 11 FPTS in three of four games. In those contests, he passed for 150, 121 and 154 yards. Gross. In Week 2, though, Young went 35-of-55 for 328 yards and three touchdowns, good for 26.3 FPTS.
Despite the Dolphins losing Tyreek Hill, there are still plenty of weapons, so points could very well be scored. And if Miami scores points , Young will have to be aggressive and sling it around the field.
Tetairoa McMillan is the clear-cut alpha on the Panthers with 35 targets leading the way. The red zone opportunities haven’t been robust, though, with three. Hunter Renfrow has six.
The matchup is one of the best in the NFL, as Miami has allowed the second-most EPA per dropback. Miami does lead the league in blitz rate, though, but the pressure rate is only 21st.
This stack is cheap as well.
3. Justin Herbert ($6,100) & Quentin Johnston ($5,700), Chargers vs. Commanders
Since putting up 30.9 FPTS in Week 1, Justin Herbert has failed to hit 20 FPTS once. In Week 2, he only attempted 27 passes as the game was well in hand. In the last two weeks, he’s attempted 41 and 47 passes but Denver boasts one of the best secondaries in the game while the Giants wreaked havoc with their defensive line.
Quentin Johnston leads the team with 37 targets. The 21st overall pick in the 2023 draft is breaking out in his third year in the league.
Washington is 22nd in pressure rate while allowing the fifth-highest EPA per dropback.
2. Justin Fields ($5,600) & Garrett Wilson ($6,100), Jets vs. Cowboys
It’s rarely pretty, but Justin Fields usually ends up getting there. Outside of Week 2 when he got injured, Fields has finished with 29.5 and 28.1 FPTS. He threw for over 200 yards with one touchdown in both while completing over 70% of his passes.
The main allure of Fields is the rushing prowess. In Week 1, he carried 12 times for 48 yards with two touchdowns. In Week 4, he carried seven times for 81 yards and a touchdown. This rushing equity provides a solid floor and allows access to a high ceiling.
Garrett Wilson has 38 targets. The next-highest receiver has six. Breece Hall is second on the team with 19 targets. L. O. L. Wilson has scored a touchdown in three of four games, resulting in over 20 FPTS in those contests.
The Cowboys have allowed the highest EPA per dropback and seen the sixth-most carries by quarterbacks, resulting in 122 yards and two touchdowns.
This game has a healthy total of 45.5 and a 1.5 spread, so it could be a competitive, back-and-forth affair.
1. Dak Prescott ($6,000) & George Pickens ($6,600), Cowboys at Jets
Dak Prescott has two bad games and two really good ones on his season resume. The volume has been there all season, though. Prescott has one game with 34 pass attempts. In the other three contests, he’s hoisted 40, 40 and 52 times. Part of it is due to the not-so-great running game and Prescott being healthy. The other aspect is the porous defense, which has forced the offense to remain aggressive.
New York has allowed the third-most EPA per dropback with the third-lowest pressure rate. For those of you keeping track at home, this game features the worst and the third-worst pass defenses.
George Pickens stepped right into the alpha role with CeeDee Lamb out with injury, garnering 11 targets in Week 4. He converted those into eight catches for 134 and two touchdowns against what was previously a good Packers defense.
The total for this game is 47.5 points with a 1.5 spread.
