This week’s Thursday Night Football matchup features an NFC West battle between the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams. Christian McCaffrey (-115)
It looks like the “washed” proclamations may have come too soon for Christian McCaffrey. The 29-year-old looks like his typical self after four games. While he’s actually semi-struggled with efficiency on the ground, the superstar has been an absolute force in the passing game, racking up an incredible 31 receptions on 43 targets for 305 yards and two touchdowns.
Both Ricky Pearsall and Jauan Jennings are out, leaving McCaffrey as the undisputed top receiver for Mac Jones. Whether it’s through the air or on the ground, CMC has a great chance at finding the end zone on Thursday, even against a stout Rams defense.
Davante Adams (+110)
Allow me to dive into the fantasy football world for just one moment. Do you realize how ridiculous it is that Puka Nacua is the WR1 through four weeks while only scoring twice? The star receiver would almost certainly have more of a lead at the top if his running mate weren’t a touchdown machine.
Adams has been a red zone monster with the Rams, taking advantage of more 1-on-1 opportunities near the goal line with defenses focusing on stopping Nacua. The 32-year-old is tied for the most RZ targets among all NFL receivers with 10. He’s hauled in a touchdown in three straight outings and should see plenty of opportunities to keep that streak rolling.

Kendrick Bourne (+350)
As I mentioned above, the 49ers are heading into Thursday night’s matchup with a lot of questions at wide receiver. Both Ricky Pearsall and Jauan Jennings are set to miss the contest. Enter: Kendrick Bourne.
Upon his return to the Bay, the veteran has carved out a decent role for himself. Bourne has jumped from a 49% snap share in his season debut all the way up to 67% or higher in each of his last two games. At 6’1 and 30 years old, Bourne isn’t exactly your prototypical big-play receiver, but this could be more of a matter of opportunity. I expect his snap rate to jump into the low 80s, and there’s a lot of value for him to find the end zone at +350. It’s also worth noting that Bourne has a strong rapport with Mac Jones, who will be taking over under center for the injured Brock Purdy.
