NFL Pick ‘Em Pool Predictions for Week 5 2025

Updated:

By: Blake Krass

There are so many different ways to make your picks for Week 5 of the NFL season on DraftKings and DraftKings Sportsbook. The DraftKings Pick ‘Em Pools are one of the best ways to get in on the action.

DraftKings has huge NFL Pick ‘Em Pools for Week 5. You can enter the $5 NFL Week 5 Spreads Pool with $5,000+ in prizes here. You can also enter the $100 NFL Week 5 Spreads Pool with $4,000+ in prizes here.

NFL Pick ‘Em Pools

These pools are really easy to use and allow you to have action for the entire NFL season with just one entry fee. For the season-long pools, each week you will go back to the pool and pick five games on the slate against the spread. Each correct selection is worth one point. You will also be given one “skip week” during the season, where you don’t need to make picks if you don’t have a good feel for that slate. That way, even if you have one bad week, you are still in contention in the contest. You can also play the weekly pools, where you pick every featured game against the spread.

Every week of the regular season, I will be giving out my five favorite selections, along with my leans for every other game on the slate.

Week 5 Picks

Saints -1.5 vs. Giants — The Saints are one of three winless teams left in the NFL. Spencer Rattler is now 0-10 in his career as an NFL starter. However, these losses have not been the fault of Rattler, at least not primarily. Rattler ranks 16th among qualified quarterbacks in completion percentage over expected and 19th in success rate. He has thrown just one interception through four games and is not making many mistakes. This could be the chance for Rattler to finally get a win, at home against the Giants. Jaxson Dart will be making his first NFL road start, and he will be doing so without Malik Nabers. The Saints have an above-average run defense, both by EPA/rush and success rate. They should force Dart to throw the ball to some questionable pass catchers. Meanwhile, the Giants rank dead last in defensive EPA/rush and defensive rushing success rate. The Saints should lean on their run game and get their first win of the season.

Panthers -1.5 vs. Dolphins — The Panthers and Dolphins face off in a battle of 1-3 teams. In Week 2, Carolina stormed back against the Cardinals, almost winning that game. It seemed to carry that momentum into Week 3, where it demolished the Falcons. However, the Panthers took a step back again in Week 4 against the Patriots. Luckily, this week, they are facing an awful Dolphins team. Miami is 1-3 after beating the Jets, but it was significantly outgained in that game against New York. Miami was lucky to get that win due to some key Jets mistakes and several controversial officiating decisions. The Dolphins will be without Tyreek Hill moving forward, which will only make their offensive issues more glaring. The Panthers have the much better defense in this matchup. They rank 19th in defensive EPA/play and eighth in defensive success rate. Meanwhile, the Dolphins rank 31st in defensive EPA/play and 32nd in defensive success rate. Carolina should move the ball with relative ease and get the win at home.

Titans +8.5 @ Cardinals — It has been a struggle for the Titans to get anything going this season. Just like the Saints, they are one of the lone winless teams left in the NFL. They might not get the win in Arizona, but they should be able to keep it within one score. All four of the Cardinals’ games this season have been decided by one score. The Titans have played some really tough defenses this season. The Broncos, Rams and Texans all rank in the top seven in the NFL in defensive EPA/play. This could be Cam Ward’s chance to get some momentum going against a Cardinals defense that ranks 21st in defensive EPA/dropback. The Cardinals’ offense ranks 26th in success rate this season. The Tennessee defense should keep them in check to make this a close game. Kyler Murray is 9-14 (39.1%) in his career as a home favorite, and that losing ATS trend should continue this week.

Vikings -3.5 vs. Browns — The Vikings will be facing the Browns in London this week. It will be Carson Wentz’s third start of the season for the Vikings, but Dillon Gabriel’s first career NFL start. The circumstances couldn’t be much harder for Gabriel in his first NFL start. There are a lot of variables that come with playing in London, and that adds more to the plate of a player making his first start. Also, he is facing off against Brian Flores, arguably the best defensive coach in football. It will be really tough for Gabriel to play a mistake-free game. The Vikings’ defense ranks first in the NFL in defensive EPA/play and should be all over Gabriel.

Carson Wentz has been solid, ranking 12th in EPA+CPOE composite among qualified quarterbacks this season. He should be able to move it through the air against the Browns’ defense, which ranks 17th in defensive EPA/dropback. The Vikings also have a massive travel advantage in this game. This will be their second straight week across the pond after facing the Steelers in Dublin last week. This is the third straight season that the NFL has used this model of allowing a team to play two consecutive overseas games. In each of the past two cases, the team playing its second straight overseas game won the game and covered the spread.

Broncos +4.5 @ Eagles — The Eagles are 4-0 to start the season, but they have been getting by in unusual ways, such as blocked field goals, dropped touchdowns that turn into interceptions or the power of the tush push. The Eagles’ offense ranks 30th in yards per game and their defense ranks 22nd in yards per game allowed. They have been outgained in all four games they played so far this season, an unsustainable way to keep winning. The Broncos rank fourth in the NFL in defensive EPA/play and third in defensive success rate. They should limit the Eagles’ offense and keep this game low-scoring. Meanwhile, Denver ranks 12th in offensive EPA/play. By EPA/play, they are better than Philadelphia on both sides of the ball. The Eagles might make the winning play again, but the Broncos should cover the spread.
