Drama was at an all-time high in Game 2 between the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees. The two sides were locked in a battle all night, threatening to go into extra innings. But it was defense and baserunning that kept the New York Yankees alive, as Jazz Chisholm Jr. used his wheels to score the go-ahead run in the bottom of the eighth.
Chisholm, after his sour postgame media comments following Game 1, turned in a massive play to prolong the season. Closer David Bednar slammed the door on Boston, and we’re headed to Game 3.
