This bet can be found under the “Match Parlays” tab. City comes into this one as big road favorites after their 2-0 win against Napoli in matchweek 1. For Monaco, it was a nightmare start to their 2025/26 UCL league phase as they suffered a 4-1 loss to Club Brugge. The French side were completely dominated and will need a much better performance in this one. Their league form has been decent, winning four of their six games.
It’s hard to tell which Monaco team we will get on Wednesday, but I’m not backing a team that lost like that to Club Brugge. No disrespect to the Belgian side, but Man City are a different level. What I will do is back both teams to score, as Monaco have scored in six of their seven games in all competitions this season.
Man City have scored in seven of their eight matches in the new season, and I think they will be too much to handle for Monaco in this one. Although Napoli got an early red card in matchweek 1, City dominated them and looked comfortable throughout. The English side are coming off a 5-1 win vs. Burnley at the weekend, and after two early losses, they are undefeated in their last five games in all competitions.
This game has the feeling of a 3-1 or 2-1 win for the Citizens. They are the better team on paper and on the pitch. I think the biggest question for this bet will be if the French side can find a way to score.
