Magno Dias Moneyline (+135)
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Magno Dias is a +135 underdog while Louis Jourdain is the favorite at -175 in this contest. Dias is the second member of The Fighting Nerds competing on this card. His teammate, Vitor Costa, is taking on Damian Pinas in the Main Event of this card. Dias is 6-1 with six finishes and has won three consecutive bouts since his previous loss.
Jourdain is 8-3 with four knockouts and one submission in his career. Until 2021, Jourdain only recorded one knockout, but he has now won three straight contests by KO/TKO. Jourdain holds a three-inch height advantage (5’9″ vs. 5’6″) over Dias. With Dias being smaller, he will need to be aggressive from the start of the contest to combat Jourdain’s physical advantages.
Dias’ previous win in April was a first-round KO/TKO and was his second straight win by knockout. To start his career, Dias won his first four bouts by submission, showcasing his evolved skill set. If he can use all parts of his game against Jourdain, a victory is doable and is an excellent value play at +135.
