During Week 4’s Monday Night Football clash between the Dolphins and Jets, wideout Tyreek Hill suffered a knee injury while coming down with a catch.
Around a minute and a half into the second half, the Miami star hauled in a pass along the right sideline and was tackled by a defender who went low. We won’t attach the video here, but Hill’s leg appeared to twist underneath him and he remained on a ground for a moment grabbing at his knee. He was carted off the field and subsequently ruled out for the remainder of the contest.
Many DraftKings Sportsbook bettors may wonder whether wagers placed on Hill will be refunded as part of the new Early Exit program. Unfortunately, the injury to the Dolphins star does not fall under the necessary criteria to trigger refunds to bets. The Early Exit program only applies to NFL injuries which occur during the first half of games, so since Hill was injured in the third quarter, the program does not apply in this case.
Prior to exiting Monday night’s game against the Jets, Hill caught six passes for 67 yards.
