UPDATE: Hill likely dislocated his knee, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
UPDATE: Hill is heading to a local hospital after the injury.
At the start of the third quarter of Monday’s game vs. the Jets, Tyreek Hill caught a third down pass to move the sticks. Hill’s lower leg looked to have suffered a gruesome injury on the play, and he was carted off the field.
Hill was having one of his best games of the season, catching all six of his targets for 67 yards. He will be a huge miss for this struggling Dolphins offense. It’s too early to speculate too much, but expect Hill to be out for an extended period of time with what looked to be something very serious. Expect Jaylen Waddle, Darren Waller and Malik Washington to pick up the slack in his absence.
