UPDATE: Malik Nabers has officially been ruled out of the matchup with his right knee injury.
Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the early belief is Nabers suffered a torn ACL.
Malik Nabers went down injured and was carted off in the New York Giants’ matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers in the second quarter of the Week 4 game. The star wide receiver was being targeted on a deep pass down the sideline, but he came down holding his right knee and screaming audibly in pain.
The injury looked to occur as Nabers attempted to explode off his right leg as he grabbed at it in pain before even reaching the ground.
Before the injury, Nabers had two receptions for 20 yards in his first start alongside rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart. New York held a 10-3 lead over the Los Angeles Chargers at the time of the injury as they search for their first win of the season.
More updates will be added as they are provided, but this is not what any Giants fan, fantasy football owner, or fan of football wants to see.
