George Pickens and the Dallas Cowboys will host the Green Bay Packers for the Week 4 Sunday Night Football matchup. Plenty of eyes will be on the matchup with Micah Parsons making his return to Dallas for the first time since the trade exactly one month ago. Both of these teams are still looking to cement their place as a threat in the NFC after hitting some early-season turbulence.
Green Bay enters with a 2-1 record but will be looking to wipe the slate clean after losing to the Cleveland Browns 13-10 last week. Dallas holds a 1-2 record with its lone victory coming over the New York Giants in a 40-27 shootout. George Pickens’ outlook shifts in this matchup with CeeDee Lamb sidelined with an ankle injury, leaving more production available in the passing game.
Looking at the odds on DraftKings Sportsbook, the Packers enter as seven-point favorites and hold -345 odds on the moneyline. The Cowboys hold +275 odds of getting the outright victory, with the game total set at 47.5 points.

George Pickens Over 4.5 Receptions (-140)
One of the more under-the-radar additions in the NFL offseason was the Cowboys’ signing of George Pickens. The former Steelers standout has had 800+ receiving yards in all three seasons in the NFL and led the league in yards per catch in 2023. The Georgia product will see his role scaled up this week with Lamb sidelined and Pickens viewed as the de facto number one wide receiver.
Through the opening three games, Pickens has pulled in 13 of his 22 targets for 166 yards and two touchdowns. He is coming off back-to-back games with identical stat lines in which he has caught five of his nine targets for 68 yards and a touchdown. With Lamb out injured, expect these opportunities to expand.
Green Bay has a strong overall defense, but its front seven is the strength of the team. Dallas will continue to lean on its passing game as the identity of its offense. As long as Dak Prescott has time to throw the ball, and that is an if, there are plays to be made. The Packers have 10 sacks collectively on the season. But count on Dallas to be prepared to lean on its quick passing attack to combat this and for Pickens to be a key part of this. He will headline the wide receiver production for Dallas this week, so count on him pulling in over 4.5 receptions for the third straight week.
George Pickens to Record 80+ Receiving Yards (+192)
These receptions will lead to some sort of yardage production, and I am backing Pickens to have his best yardage output thus far in a Cowboys uniform. He has logged at least 82.4% of the offensive snaps in every game this season and will now be the number one read for Prescott in the passing game.
The standard receiving prop line is set at 60.5 yards, which he has cleared in each of his previous two games. But I like the chances of pushing this further and Pickens recording 80+ receiving yards. While it was a different offense, Pickens had 80+ yards in five games last year and 14 times in his career. The Georgia product is an intriguing combination of big-play potential and a reliable part of the offense.
Count on Dallas having him involved in the offense throughout and being willing to take a few big-play shots with Pickens as the recipient. Dallas currently ranks 27th in the league in opponent points allowed and has not held an opponent to below 24 points. It is going to need to move the ball and put up points to have a chance in this game. Count on Pickens being a huge part of this effort and having a path to his best statistical output in Dallas. Taking the +192 swing based on the context of the matchup and the need for Pickens in the flow of play is a solid value.
