The weekend has come to an end, but there’s still plenty of NFL action in store. It’s a two-game Monday Night Football slate, starting at 7:00 p.m. EST with the Dolphins and Jets. Later, the Bengals travel to Denver for a date with the Broncos.
That’s four different teams for fantasy football managers to choose from when setting their lineups. Which names are set to step up during these star-studded matchups?

RB Ollie Gordon II, Miami Dolphins vs. NYJ ($4,500)
There hasn’t been much to write home about for the Marlins this season. However, rookie Ollie Gordon II has shown flashes of greatness during his brief NFL career. The preseason standout was never guaranteed a major role behind star running back De’Von Achane ($7,000). However, he made the most of his opportunities in Week 3 against Buffalo. The sixth-round pick handled nine carries for 38 yards and a touchdown (9.8 FPTS).
The Bills wield one of football’s worst run defenses. However, Monday’s opponent, the Jets, aren’t much better. New York has allowed the 12th-most fantasy points to running backs this season. Miami, for all its flaws, should be favored in this contest. If the Fins get out to a comfortable lead, they should opt for a run-heavy approach. That could lead to more carries for Gordon, especially if this becomes a blowout. Considering the lack of value picks at running back, the 21-year-old offers high upside for fantasy managers.
WR Troy Franklin, Denver Broncos vs. CIN ($4,100)
A breakout campaign for Troy Franklin came to a halt in Week 3. The Oregon alum only recorded two catches for 133 yards against the Chargers. It was the first disappointing game of the season for the second-year pro. Through the wideout’s first two games, he hauled in 12 catches for 133 yards and a touchdown. So, who is the real Troy Franklin? At this point, it’s hard to say. Monday’s matchup should give us a better understanding of what to expect going forward.
I’m willing to bet that Denver’s WR2 delivers another solid statline. After all, this Bengals secondary isn’t exactly known for stopping opposing passers. In addition, Franklin did see the field for 79% of all snaps last week, despite his lackluster production. Only Courtland Sutton ($6,100) saw more playing time at wide receiver. When these two teams met in 2024, quarterback Bo Nix ($6,000) threw for 219 yards and three touchdowns. That level of success through the air should continue on Monday. It’s also worth mentioning that Cincinnati’s defense is a clear step down in talent compared to Los Angeles. Look for Franklin to bounce back with another quality fantasy performance.
