NFL Week 4 Player Props
Ravens at Chiefs: Derrick Henry o85.5 Rushing Yards (-111)
Derrick Henry needs a big game against the Chiefs. The legendary running back has not been able to get going the past two weeks against Detroit and Cleveland. While some are calling him “washed,” I am ready to bet on Henry to have a big game. In Week 1, Henry rushed for 169 yards and a touchdown against the Bills. The past two weeks have not gone Henry’s way for various reasons. First, those are two elite run defenses that the Ravens faced. The Lions rank second in the NFL in defensive EPA/rush, and the Browns rank fourth in defensive rushing success rate. The Browns knew the way to move it against those teams was by throwing the football, which is why Henry only had 23 carries across those two games. They were also trailing the entire fourth quarter, having to throw to come back.
Against the Chiefs, the Ravens should bring much more of a run-heavy attack. Kansas City ranks 29th in defensive EPA/rush and defensive rushing success rate. They have been much better against the pass, so Baltimore should unleash Henry. Saquon Barkley cleared this number in Week 2 against the Chiefs, and Cam Skattebo was running it with ease last week. There has been no more dominant back in the NFL over the past decade, and Henry should get back on track in this game.
Raiders vs. Bears: Tre Tucker Longest Reception o19.5 Yards (-125)
Tre Tucker had a breakout game last week for the Raiders. The third-year receiver is hoping to establish himself as a real weapon for Geno Smith. He has always been a great deep-threat option but has never had a quarterback who was great at throwing down the field. While Geno Smith has been shaky at times this season, he won’t hesitate to air it out. This Chicago secondary has many flaws, ranking 23rd in defensive EPA/dropback and 26th in defensive dropback success rate. The Raiders should be able to hit throws downfield against this defense. Tucker had 145 receiving yards last week, including a 61-yarder. He only had two catches in Week 1, but one of them went for 21 yards. So, he has cleared this number in two out of three games this season. Against a bad secondary, Geno Smith should look to Tucker and hit at least one big shot down the field.
Giants vs. Chargers: Cam Skattebo Anytime TD (+105)
Cam Skattebo is taking over as the primary back in New York sooner than anyone expected. Many were excited about the Giants drafting Skattebo after his incredible 2024 season at Arizona State. However, he was expected to back up Tyrone Tracy Jr. and even had to split the backup role with Devin Singletary. However, when Tracy got injured last week against the Chiefs, Skattebo was given the full trust of his coaching staff. He had ten carries for 60 yards and a score, plus six catches for 61 more yards. This week, Jaxson Dart will be making his first career start. Brian Daboll will try to make life easy on Dart, which means he should rely on Skattebo in both the run game and the short passing game. The Chargers rank first in the NFL in defensive dropback success rate, but 15th in defensive rushing success rate. Starting a rookie quarterback against this elite Los Angeles secondary should lead to Skattebo getting touches any time the Giants get into the red zone.
