Best NFL Prop Bets for Colts vs. Rams on Sunday 9/28/25

The Indianapolis Colts have started the season red hot, going 3-0, but now will face their toughest test so far against the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams have won the last four matchups against the Colts, with Indianapolis’ previous victory coming in 2009 vs. the Rams.

On DraftKings Sportsbook, the 2-1 Rams are -3.5 against the Colts. This game has an over/under of 49.5 points. Here are my favorite three prop bets for Sunday’s matchup at 4:05 p.m. ET between the Rams and Colts.

Matthew Stafford Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-154)

In his career, Matthew Stafford has played the Colts five times and has totaled at least two passing touchdowns in four of them. Stafford has recorded two-plus TDs in back-to-back games and four of his previous five contests dating back to last year’s playoffs.

Stafford is returning home after a close loss to the Eagles, which should translate to him playing his best against the Colts. You can get Stafford to hit this mark at -154 on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Jonathan Taylor Over 86.5 Rushing Yards (-113)

Through three weeks, Jonathan Taylor is leading the NFL in carries (60) and rushing yards (338). Taylor has had two straight games with 100-plus rushing yards and has averaged over six yards per carry in the last two weeks. Although the Rams have been good at containing elite RBs in the past, Taylor looks like he can be an outlier.

Taylor has recorded at least 87 rushing yards in seven straight games dating back to last season. Last week’s game was a blowout against the Tennessee Titans, causing him to get only 17 carries. However, since this game should be very close, Taylor should benefit significantly from that. Taylor’s over in rushing yards is set at 86.5, which is -113.

Puka Nacua Over 7.5 Receptions (-123)

Puka Nacua has been a beast this season, catching 29 passes (1st in NFL) for 333 yards (2nd in NFL) in the first three games. Nacua has caught 10, 8, and 11 balls so far this season, which makes it surprising to see his total in catches at only 7.5 against the Colts. In Nacua’s previous six regular-season games, he has caught 8+ passes.

In Nacua’s only game against Indianapolis, he had nine receptions for 163 yards and a touchdown. Even though the Rams added star WR, Davante Adams, Nacua has still been Stafford’s go-to guy. Nacua has 16 more catches than Adams this season. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Nacua’s over 7.5 receptions is -123.
