The MLB playoff picture is beginning to take shape. One of our matchups in the National League is set, and the DraftKings oddsmakers wasted no time in listing the odds for the Chicago Cubs vs. San Diego Padres series. The two top wild cards in the NL face off, with the winner to face the top NL seed. Let’s get into the Game 1 odds and the series price.

For Game 1, the Cubs are priced at -123 on the moneyline as the home favorites. San Diego will be +101 road underdogs. Since starting pitchers have not yet been announced, we do not yet have an over/under or a run line, but it gives us a meaningful glimpse into this series.

The series price is slightly more favorable to Chicago. The Cubs are -125 favorites to win the three-game Wild Card set, as they will play host at Wrigley Field for the entire series. San Diego is a +105 underdog to win the series and advance.

Keep an eye out for the starting pitcher announcements, as that could change the line. The playoffs will be on us before we know it, so be prepared.
