The 2025 Ryder Cup is here, and you can get in on the action in DraftKings Pick6 contests, a single-user daily fantasy game where users choose players to go for more or less than the totals. If you’re unfamiliar with the Ryder Cup, here is the general format.
Each team will field 12 players, and matches will be played over three days, with 28 matches being contested over 18 holes.
Day: 1 (Friday) Four fourball matches and four foursomes matches. Four matches in AM and four in PM.
Day 2: (Saturday) Four fourball matches and four foursomes matches. Four matches in AM and four in PM.
Day 3: (Sunday): 12 singles matches (all players play in one match).

For Pick6 play, though, we’ll be focusing on player totals for overall points during the entire three-day event. Currently, DraftKings Pick6 has point totals up for most players on both sides (USA and Europe), with differing totals for many players. With groups not yet announced for the opening matches, we can expect these totals may shift once they are announced on Thursday afternoon.
Hence, getting out in front of it with some picks (based on practice rounds and projected pairings) could put us in a good spot come Friday when the event starts.

Harris English More Than 1.75 points (1.1x multiplier)
English is a veteran of the 2021 Ryder Cup, where the Americans won dominantly in Wisconsin. He only went 1-2 that season, but lost his singles match by 1 point, so he was close to being .500 or 2-1 that year as well. There are a couple of reasons to like playing for English to get two points this week, the first being the increased multiplier at 1.1x. English’s multiplier on his “more than 1.75 points” is bigger than that of Ryder Cup rookies like Griffin or Henley, who may have outplayed English down the stretch this season, but also don’t have his track record of performing well on these larger US Open-style courses (3x Top 6 finishes at US Opens and a runner-up at the PGA in 2025).
English’s fit for these sorts of venues may open him up to being paired with one of the USA’s best players, like Scottie Scheffler, early, which could get him a point quickly out of the gate. Ultimately, his track record and experience mean he should get at least two team matches under his belt, especially with the USA having so many rookies, who will likely max out at two team matches. It’s a good value play that you shouldn’t shy away from.
Ben Griffin Less Than 1.75 points
There is little doubt that Griffin is playing some good golf entering this year’s Ryder Cup, but as a rookie and a player who isn’t as strong off the tee as some of the other players on the team, he may be used more sparingly by the USA team this week. If he doesn’t get paired with an elite player like Thomas or DeChambeau from the get-go, he also risks getting bypassed in later groupings if the USA’s strategy is working and doesn’t require a lot of tinkering by their captain.
He’ll be an interesting name to monitor, but just keep in mind that it’s OK to be bearish on the performance of some of these rookies, even if they enter playing great golf. The situation this week is very unique, and their lack of experience often leads to poor performances. Of all the new player options for Team USA on the board right now, Griffin is the name I like fading the most.
Robert MacIntyre More Than 1.75 points (1.1x multiplier)
MacIntyre is another player whom I like targeting to get to two points this week. Like English, his multiplier for “more than 1.75 points” is bigger than that of other players with the same total, and I’m not sure that’s warranted. Not only is this his second Ryder Cup, but the Scotsman was a solid performer for the European squad back in 2023, going 2-0-1 for the week, winning his singles match and going 1-0-1 in team play with Justin Rose.
This year, he comes in playing extremely well, having just lost out to Scottie Scheffler in a playoff event. He’s also turned into an elite putter and handled the tricky US Open greens at Oakmont extremely well back in June, finishing second there to JJ Spaun. Europe should rely more heavily on MacIntyre this time around, and he’s someone I could see getting 4+ matches this week, especially if he goes well in his opening team match.
Bonus: Patrick Cantlay AND Xander Schauffele More Than 2.25 points (1.1x multiplier)
I love the idea of playing Cantlay and Schauffele together as a block for Pick6 this week. The two have played together quite a bit at past team events for the USA and have had some strong performances, including going 5-0 in foursomes as a team at one point (until they got blitzed 7-6 at the Presidents Cup last year). The two have also had tons of success at the PGA TOUR’s lone team event (Zurich Classic), having won the event back in 2022, while also finishing runner-up in 2023.
If Keegan Bradley decides to put them out together from the start, we could see him rely on the duo throughout the three-day event, giving each man 4+ matches and a great shot at getting to 2.5+ points. With a 1.1x multiplier attached to both players’ “more than”, they make for a nice stacking duo given the potentially big correlation.

Create a Pick Set
Create a Pick Set by choosing 2+ players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of set competitions). For each player, simply select if you think they’ll have more or less than their listed stat projection. In each Pick Set, you can not pick the same player twice and you must pick players from at least two different teams.
Enter an Amount
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.

When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Compete for Prizes
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
