This week’s Main Event of Dana White’s Contender Series features an excellent Middleweight matchup between Djani Barbir vs. Mantas Kondratavicius. Both fighters combine for a 14-1 record with 14 finishes in their careers. With two fighters who are allergic to a boring fight, who will come out on top?

Here is my best bet for tonight’s Main Event of Dana White’s Contender Series Season 9, Week 7.

Djani Barbir to Win by KO/TKO/DQ or Submission (-105)

On DraftKings Sportsbook, Barbir is a slight -125 favorite with Kondratavicius being a +105 underdog. This fight has an over/under of 1.5 rounds, with the under being -245. Barbir is -105 to win via finish, while Kondratavicius is +130 to do the same.

Both fighters are 6’3″, but Barbir has a two-inch reach advantage (77″ vs. 75″). Barbir, the older fighter in this matchup by two years, hasn’t fought since November 2024. Even though his activity had been an issue, all seven of Barbir’s victories have come in the first or second round.

Barbir has four knockouts and three submissions and might be the more well-rounded fighter in this bout. If he can control the pace of this fight and mix in takedowns, he should be in a good position to not only pick up a victory but do so by finish.
