Week 3 in the NFL contained plenty of great games and big performances, as teams continued to show whether they are true contenders or just early-season pretenders. Hopefully, your fantasy team is contending and off to a great start, since we’re already almost through the first quarter of the regular season in most standard leagues. Bye weeks are coming, but in Week 4 we get another great 16-game schedule, so let’s start the week with a look at my top 15 fantasy football quarterbacks for this week in my Week 4 QB Rankings.
In Week 3, the top quarterback performance coming into Monday Night Football’s big game between the Lions and Ravens came from Jalen Hurts (30 FPTS), who led his Eagles to a big comeback win over the Rams. Caleb Williams (29.1 FPTS) and Geno Smith (26.1 FPTS) also finished over 25 fantasy points with Josh Allen (23 FPTS) from Thursday Night Football, Marcus Mariota (21.3 FPTS) and Drake Maye (21.2 FPTS) the only other quarterbacks with over 20 fantasy points.
Mariota was filling in for Jayden Daniels (knee), who is one of the injury uncertainties heading into Week 4. Brock Purdy (toe) and Justin Fields (concussion) are also uncertain, although Fields does get an extra day to recover since the Jets don’t play until Monday of Week 4. Joe Burrow (toe) and J.J. McCarthy (ankle) are on IR and will miss Week 4. At this point, my best guess is that Daniels, Purdy and Fields all play, so I included them in my rankings.
