Week 3’s edition of Monday Night Football sees an inter-conference clash between contenders as the Detroit Lions (1-1) head into Baltimore to take on the Ravens (1-1). These two teams trot out a couple of the NFL’s top offenses, so some of the league’s brightest stars are on display tonight for what should be a fantastic game with plenty of scoring.

With that in mind, check out the best Sam LaPorta prop bets for Lions at Ravens on Monday Night Football in Week 3.

The Lions looked pretty rough to start their season in Week 1 with just 13 points against the Green Bay Packers. A slight panic ensued among fans following the sluggish season opener, but those concerns were quickly put to rest in Week 2 as Detroit dropped 52 points on the Chicago Bears in an offensive masterclass. Despite the loss of former offensive coordinator Ben Johnson, this team remains plenty capable of lighting up the scoreboard.

Through the first two weeks of the campaign, tight end Sam LaPorta has nine catches on 13 targets for 105 yards without a touchdown. The sample size remains small, but he saw nine looks in Week 1 and four targets in Week 2, so there’s a little bit of variation in the workload the third-year talent takes on during any given week. Sharing the field with players such as Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams and Jahmyr Gibbs does mean that not everyone can eat in every single matchup, but there’s still a lot of reason to like LaPorta’s prop bets tonight against the Ravens.

For instance, this matchup carries a combined total of 53.5 points, by far the highest of the Week 3 slate. These teams both deploy some of the top offensive units over the last few seasons with consistent results in the top 10 each year, and that hasn’t changed through the opening two weeks of 2025. The Ravens average a whopping 40.5 points per game to start the campaign while the Lions average 32.5, and with defenses which fall 21st and 29th in opponent scoring while Baltimore ranks dead-last with 409.5 yards allowed per contest, the upside for the over on prop bets remains immense.

Where LaPorta is concerned, there’s plenty of reason to believe he’s primed for a big game. The Ravens allow a league-worst eight receptions to tight ends thus far as well as 92.5 yards per game, also the second-worst mark of any team. Getting easy looks for the Iowa product in the short and intermediate game as a chain-mover will likely be a point of emphasis tonight, and when the Lions get into the red zone, the 6-foot-3 target becomes a threat to score his first touchdown of the year as well. This Monday Night Football matchup feels like a great opportunity to take the over on LaPorta’s 46.5-yard over/under, but 60+ yards feels within reason with much better value at +160. He’s also a fantastic pick for an anytime touchdown at +265 odds as well, so even a parlay between those two picks can provide quite the payout.

Best Bet: Sam LaPorta 60+ receiving yards (+160)

Slight lean: Sam LaPorta anytime touchdown (+265)
