37-year-old Russell Wilson produced a vintage performance last Sunday in an overtime loss to the Dallas Cowboys, throwing for the second-most passing yards of his illustrious career and temporarily quelling discussion of the New York Giants turning to rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart.
But taking down the Cowboys is one thing; taking down the Kansas City Chiefs is another. Both teams will be seeking their first win of the season when the game starts at 8:20 p.m. ET.
The Giants are six-point underdogs at DraftKings Sportsbook, with the point total set to 44.5. Below, I’ve detailed my favorite prop bets centered around Wilson.

Russell Wilson 240+ Passing Yards (+128)
Early in the season, the area in which the Chiefs have struggled the most is on defense; after finishing with the second-highest overall defensive grade on Pro Football Focus in 2024, they’ve posted the fourth-worst defensive grades so far. Sure, the offenses they have faced have been pretty good: the Los Angeles Chargers look like real threats to claim the division this season, and the Philadelphia Eagles demonstrated their offensive talent firsthand in Super Bowl LIX. Still, allowing 318 passing yards to Justin Herbert in Week 1 is far from ideal, especially given that Wilson is an even more aggressive passer than Herbert.
In particular, Kansas City has struggled in coverage: two-time All-Pro cornerback Trent McDuffie has allowed a 113.3 passer rating on his 10 targets, the highest mark of his career, and slot corner Chamarri Conner has been even less impressive, allowing a completion on each of his targets dating back to Week 14 last season. The Chiefs have also struggled to get to the quarterback, recording the seventh-lowest pressure rate in the league, and this season, Wilson has gotten it out the fifth-quickest in football. New York’s offense has plenty of playmakers, from wideouts Malik Nabers and Wan’Dale Robinson to rookie running back Cam Skattebo, who’s shown some early flashes in the passing game.

Wilson has also shown off some of his wheels this season while backed up by a sub-optimal running back corps in Skattebo and Tyrone Tracy, leading the Giants in rushing yards during the team’s Week 1 loss to the Washington Commanders by amassing 44 yards on eight carries. He followed it up with a more moderate performance against the Dallas Cowboys, carrying it three times for 23 yards, but in the early going, his 5.5 rushing attempts per game are his highest since 2017. He’s also averaged more than four yards per attempt in all but two of his 14 seasons.
Kansas City has put up the league’s fifth-lowest grades against the run this season, although it has held opposing rushers to just 3.6 yards per carry so far, the seventh-lowest average in the NFL. In Week 1, Herbert managed to turn his seven carries into 32 yards, although Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts was much more bottled up in Week 2, taking nine carries for 15 yards. Wilson, unlike Hurts, doesn’t have Saquon Barkley to hand the ball off to.
