t’s been as good a start as possible for the teams in the NFC West. The Rams, 49ers, Cardinals, and Seahawks are a combined 7–1 through two weeks. The only loss came when Seattle fell to San Francisco. Now, two of the undefeated teams — the Arizona Cardinals and the San Francisco 49ers — will face off on Sunday for the top spot in the division.
The 49ers are favored by 2.5 points and hold -130 odds on the moneyline at DraftKings Sportsbook. The Cardinals have +110 odds of winning outright, with the game total set at 44.5. There are numerous ways to get involved in the action beyond simply picking a side. This article highlights my three favorite prop bets for this Week 3 game between the Cardinals and the 49ers.

Marvin Harrison Jr. Anytime Touchdown Scorer
The Arizona Cardinals have some serious red-zone weapons. Kyler Murray and James Conner are always threats to punch it in on the ground, and Murray also has a big tight end target in Trey McBride. But perhaps his most lethal weapon is Marvin Harrison Jr.
The former Biletnikoff Award winner caught eight touchdowns during his rookie season and got off on the right foot by reeling in another against the Saints in Week 1
San Francisco doesn’t have much size in the secondary to contend with Maserati Marv. When Arizona gets into the red zone, expect targets to go his way.
Kyler Murray 25+ Rush Yards
The San Francisco 49ers once again boast an elite defense. They shut down the Seahawks in Week 1 and held off a furious rally by the Saints in Week 2. They’re stout against the run and loaded with playmakers in the secondary. But if there’s one vulnerability, it’s their struggles against mobile quarterbacks.
Sam Darnold isn’t known for his legs, but he ran for 14 yards on two scrambles in Week 1. Spencer Rattler, also not much of a rushing threat, picked up 14 yards in Week 2. Kyler Murray, on the other hand, is a dynamic scrambler and a designed runner. He’ll be a problem for the 49ers’ gap discipline — a recurring issue last season. Expect him to break loose for a few runs on the outside.
Christian McCaffrey 6+ Receptions
The 49ers have leaned heavily on Christian McCaffrey in their two wins. Entering the season without a WR1 after Brandon Aiyuk tore his ACL and a WR2 after Deebo Samuel was traded to Washington, San Francisco’s offense has turned to McCaffrey in a big way. George Kittle was injured on the first drive of Week 1 and remains out, leaving CMC as both the lead back and top passing-game option.
In Week 1, McCaffrey caught nine of 10 targets for 73 yards. He followed that up with six receptions on seven targets for 52 yards and a touchdown in Week 2. With Kittle still sidelined and Jauan Jennings banged up, expect another high-volume day in the passing game for McCaffrey against Arizona.
