The 2025 NFL season is onto the Sunday slate of Week 3. This is a look at my favorite player prop bets for NFL Week 3. You can place all of these bets on the DraftKings Sportsbook.
NFL Week 3 Player Props
Bears vs. Cowboys: Rome Odunze Longest Reception o24.5 Yards (-110)
In his sophomore season, Rome Odunze is looking like the weapon the Bears hoped he would be for Caleb Williams when they drafted him. After an inconsistent rookie season, Odunze has been the standout target for the Bears this season. He had six catches, including a touchdown, in the season opener. Odunze followed that up with seven catches for 128 yards and two scores against the Lions in Week 2. Odunze has been the go-to guy for Williams in the red zone and on third downs. He is also a deep-threat option for the Bears, as evidenced against Detroit. Williams should be able to hit Odunze down the field in this game against a suspect Cowboys secondary. Dallas ranks 31st in the NFL in defensive EPA/dropback and was giving up deep balls all game against Russell Wilson and the Giants last week. Odunze should get open deep in this game and get over his longest reception prop.
Eagles vs. Rams: Jalen Hurts u26.5 Passing Attempts (-110)
The Eagles are off to a 2-0 start, but they haven’t exactly looked electric on offense. Their passing offense has looked disjointed, with the running game leading the way for Philadelphia. Among quarterbacks with two starts, only Joe Burrow and Justin Fields have fewer passing yards than Hurts, and both of those players left their Week 2 starts early with injuries. Hurts has only 45 passing attempts through two games, an average of 22.5 per game. That number is unlikely to increase in this game against the Rams, who have a great secondary. The Rams rank first in the NFL in defensive EPA/dropback. The Eagles should continue to keep the ball on the ground rather than force it against that secondary. The flow of the game should lead to Hurts going under this number for the third straight game.
Colts at Titans: Daniel Jones Anytime TD (+180)
Daniel Jones has been one of the surprise stars of the first two weeks of this NFL season. He won the starting job for the Colts and is proving himself with two great performances so far. The Colts are off to a 2-0 start, and their offense ranks third behind only the Bills and Ravens in EPA/play. They have moved the ball well through the air and on the ground. Jonathan Taylor has been fantastic running the ball, but Jones’ legs have been a real threat in the red zone. Jones has three rushing touchdowns through two games for the Colts. The dangerous threat of Taylor on the ground allows Jones to fake a hand off, tuck it and run for a touchdown. The Titans’ defense ranks dead last in the NFL in EPA/rush. The Colts should move the ball on the ground, and Jones has a great chance of scoring another rushing touchdown.
