This is WWE’s first premium live event airing on ESPN. Wrestlepalooza is taking place in Indianapolis, Indiana, at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. WWE’s last PLE in Indy was the Royal Rumble on February 1, which was held at Lucas Oil Stadium.
10:15 p.m. ET: Cody Rhodes retains his title
After winning his second title at SummerSlam, Rhodes defeated Drew McIntyre at Wrestlepalooza in his first title reign.
Rhodes got the best of McIntyre to start the match while taking the action outside the ring. The tides shifted when McIntyre brutally threw Rhodes into the side post of the ring. Rhodes hit McIntyre with a superplex to gain some momentum.
McIntyre wouldn’t give Rhodes a moment to recover, as he was just so aggressive at all times. The Scottish Warrior was so close to winning the match multiple times. McIntyre attempted to hit Rhodes with a Claymore through the announce table, but he moved out of the way.
Rhodes got McIntyre back in the ring and hit him with a Cross Rhodes to win the match.
9:46 p.m. ET: Stephanie McMahon is going into the WWE HOF!
The Undertaker surprised Stephanie McMahon and told her that she is the first member of the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame class.
9:42 p.m. ET: The Undertaker is here!
The Undertaker made an appearance and came out as his American Badass character.
9:34 p.m. ET: CM Punk & AJ Lee defeat Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch
AJ Lee wins her first match in over a decade at Wrestlepalooza. This is Lee and Punk’s first tag team victory together since July 2012. Punk picks up his first win against Rollins at a PLE (not including Royal Rumble or Elimination Chamber) since he beat the Shield in 2013.
CM Punk began the match in the ring with Seth Rollins, but before they were able to touch, Becky Lynch tagged herself in. Lynch and Rollins continued with the mind games.
Rollins and Lynch were getting the better of Punk and Lee to start the match. Rollins took the action outside the ring and began beating up Punk on the announce table. When Punk tagged in Lee, the crowd went crazy.
Lynch hit Punk with a bunch of cheap shots throughout the match. Every time it seemed like Punk and Lee were about to gain momentum, Lynch and Rollins delivered a dirty tactic. Punk hit Rollins with a GTS and was the neutralizer that his team needed.
Lee wrestled her first match in a decade, but she still put on an excellent showing. The fans began to chant, “You still got it”. All four wrestlers began to brawl in the middle of the ring over 20 minutes into the match. Lynch threw Lee into Punk and Rollins, causing them to go through the table.
9:00 p.m. ET: Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch make their entrance
Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch came out on an elevated platform at Wrestlepalooza.
8:45 p.m. ET: Stephanie Vaquer is the new Women’s World Champion!
Stephanie Vaquer defeated IYO SKY to become the new WWE Women’s World Champion. This is Vaquer’s first singles title on the WWE main roster.
This match got off to a little bit of a slow start with Vaquer gaining the upper hand. Vaquer and SKY went toe-to-toe in this match, and it was such a close and competitive contest.
During this match, Vaquer showed a more aggressive side of herself. Vaquer’s athleticism is elite, and it proved to be the difference against SKY.
The next match is a Mixed Tag Team Match between CM Punk and AJ Lee vs. Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch.
8:11 p.m. ET: The Vision defeats The Usos
The Vision’s Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed won their fifth straight tag team match.
Bronson Reed and Jey Uso started the match and took advantage. Breakker and Reed started to beat down The Usos, as it took them a while to get back on track.
Even though this was initially supposed to be a traditional match, with Knight as the ref, he allowed them to use tables and chairs. Jey Uso got busted open by Breakker. Reed then hit Uso with a Tsunami, finishing the match.

7:43 p.m. ET: The Usos vs. Bronson Reed & Bron Breakker is up next!
The next match is a tag team contest between The Usos vs. Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker. LA Knight is the special guest referee.
7:32 p.m. ET: Brock Lesnar defeats John Cena
This is Brock Lesnar’s first victory since Night of Champions 2023. Lesnar destroyed Cena from start to finish of this match.
Brock Lesnar started the match by beating down Cena. Even though this was Lesnar’s first match in over two years, he didn’t show ring rust. The crowd began chanting for Cena, and he started to work his way back into the match. Each time Cena would attempt to get back to his feet, Lesnar would deliver another suplex.
Cena hit Lesnar with three Attitude Adjustments, but it wasn’t enough to win the match. Lesnar responded right back with six F5s on Cena, finishing the 17-time Champion.
7:21 p.m. ET: John Cena makes his entrance!
The 17-time WWE Champion John Cena is here at Wrestlepalooza for his match with Brock Lesnar.
7:18 p.m. ET: Brock Lesnar is here
The Beast Brock Lesnar is the first superstar to make his entrance on a WWE premium live event on ESPN.
7:14 p.m. ET: Triple H opens the show!
At the start of Wrestlepalooza, Triple H opened the event and addressed the audience.
