Week 4 of the college football season has a great slate of Saturday games. These are the best player prop bets to consider on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Week 4 Prop Bets
TCU vs. SMU: Josh Hoover 304+ Passing Yards (-115)
Josh Hoover is one of the most underrated quarterbacks in the country. He ranked seventh in the nation in passing yards last season, with Garrett Nussmeier as the only player ahead of him on that list who isn’t currently in the NFL. The TCU offense goes fast and is explosive, as proven to start this season as well. Hoover is averaging 310.5 passing yards per game to start this season, the ninth-highest mark in college football. Those are huge numbers considering TCU has comfortably won each of its first two games and taken its foot off the gas late. In this rivalry game against SMU, it should be a shootout with Hoover chucking until the end. In its only competitive game this season, SMU gave up 440 passing yards to Baylor’s Sawyer Robertson. While that will be a hard number to match, Hoover should get over this number against the Mustangs, like he did when he threw for 396 yards in this matchup last season.
Notre Dame vs. Purdue: Jeremiyah Love 103+ Rushing Yards (-110)
Jeremiyah Love is one of the best running backs in the nation. He went for 147 all-purpose yards and two scores in last week’s massive game against Texas A&M. Notre Dame has had a brutal start to its season with losses to Miami and Texas A&M. This is the Irish’s chance to pick up a comfortable win by leaning on their star running back. Notre Dame should be able to completely control the line of scrimmage in this game and should just repeatedly feed Love. Love ran for 109 yards when these teams faced last season, and it should be more of the same for Love in this year’s matchup. USC ran for 178 yards against Purdue last week, and Notre Dame should be similarly effective.
Washington at Washington State: Demond Williams Jr. Anytime TD (+110)
Demond Williams Jr. is a rising star in college football. Williams took over the starting job at the end of last season for Washington. He put on a show in the bowl game against Louisville, throwing for 374 yards and running for 48 more, plus a rushing touchdown. The Huskies have the best rushing attack in the nation between Williams and star running back Jonah Coleman. They rank first in the country in offensive EPA/rush and face a Washington State defense that ranks 96th in defensive EPA/rush. Washington should have its way on the ground all game, including with their quarterback. Williams has been using his legs often this season, with 60 or more rushing yards in each of his first two starts. He had a rushing touchdown last time out against UC Davis, and then Washington had an early bye week last week. Williams will be fresh and ready to run all over his in-state rivals on Saturday.
