This week’s Thursday Night Football matchup features an AFC East battle between the Bills and Dolphins. On paper, these teams have a significant talent gap, but both Buffalo and Miami are capable of racking up points. Here are my three top Anytime TD Week 3 TNF scorer bets on DraftKings Sportsbook!
James Cook (-175)
Let’s get the favorite out of the way now. At -175, Cook still holds enough value to bet on. The big question for Buffalo’s top back entering the 2025 campaign was if he’d be able to replicate his elite scoring production. Last year, Cook racked up 18 total touchdowns, setting a high bar for his remaining tenure in Buffalo.
Through two weeks, it certainly looks like he’s going to match that mark.
Cook has already found the end zone three times to go along with 237 total yards, solidifying his role as the top Bills playmaker not named Josh Allen. Tonight, he gets to face a Miami defense that opposing running backs have absolutely torched so far this year. Look for that trend to continue as Cook gets into the end zone once again.
Tyreek Hill (+180)
After almost a full calendar year of unprecedented struggles, Tyreek Hill finally looked like Tyreek Hill again last week vs. the Patriots. The speedster caught six of seven targets for 109 yards. We still haven’t seen the signature 60-yard deep ball touchdown from the star wideout, but at least he’s operating with positive momentum heading into this TNF matchup.
In 2024, the veteran found the end zone just six times, tied with his rookie year for his fewest touchdowns in a season. Hill hasn’t scored yet this season, but we know the Dolphins are almost certainly going to be playing from behind and airing it out all night. That means more targets for No. 10 in what could be his first huge outing of the season.
Jaylen Waddle is also dealing with a shoulder injury, which could limit his involvement. If that’s the case, Tua Tagovailoa could have no other choice but to hone in on his top target early and often. If the Dolphins offense is truly going to get back on track, it starts with Hill.

Ray Davis (+370)
As I alluded to in my breakdown of Tyreek Hill’s anytime TD prospects, we’re likely looking at a blowout tonight. The Bills are a definitive top five team in football and the Dolphins… well… aren’t. Mike McDaniel’s squad currently holds the second-worst point differential in the league. Miami might be in play for the No. 1 overall pick this year.
The Bills have won six consecutive matchups between these squads with an average margin of victory of 10.8 points. After tonight, I expect that average to expand. As a result, we have the opportunity to look at players who typically see lesser roles, in anticipation of Bills backups seeing expanded workloads.
Enter Ray Davis. The second-year back barely saw the field in Week 1, but did earn nine carries against the Jets in Buffalo’s most recent outing. With the Bills likely coasting in the second half, Davis’ snap share could jump into the 40-50% range, and he could earn as many as 15 carries. If that’s the case, finding the end zone is a very realistic possibility for the power back.
