In Week 2, the NFL had plenty of plot twists and dramatic turns throughout the day. While some of those ups and downs came as surprises to many of us, one bettor on DraftKings Sportsbook built a beautiful NFL parlay combining multiple picks into a perfect, 13-leg parlay.
Since stacking those picks together multiplied the odds, it boosted the odds to a massive +510185. Since the bettor placed a $10 parlay bet, it paid out a massive $51,008.56 when all 13 legs went green. Here were the legs of the winning parlay, with a recap and analysis of how the picks went down on Sunday of Week 2 below:

The parlay included one pick from each of the 13 games on Sunday’s NFL schedule. In the nine games in the early window, the bettor selected three picks against the spread, four overs, and two winners on the moneyline.
The Bills -6.5, Rams -5.5 and Lions -6 were all favored by less than a touchdown coming into the week. The Bills were on the road against the Jets, the Rams were on the road against the Titans, and the Lions were home against the Bears.
The Lions got off to a fast start and never let off the gas while steamrolling the Bears, 52-21. The Bills also won comfortably, going up 20-3 by halftime and cruising to a 30-10 win. The closest of the three favorites against the spread in the parlay were the Rams, who actually trailed 13-10 at halftime. In the second half, though, Matthew Stafford hit Davis Allen and Davante Adams for touchdowns, and the Rams ended up covering comfortably in their 33-19 victory.
The parlay included the over on four contests in the early window. The Cowboys and Giants needed to go over 44.5 points, the Browns and Ravens to go over 45.5, the Seahawks and Steelers to go over 40.5, and the 49ers and Saints to go over 40.5. The Cowboys and Giants had no problem at all scoring points, racking up 77 total points in their overtime thriller. They only had 23 at halftime and 33 at the end of the third quarter, but the back-and-forth action resulted in 41 points in the fourth quarter alone.
The Browns and Ravens also started a little slow, with only 13 points in the first half and 34 in the first three quarters, but the Ravens racked up 21 points in the fourth to almost reach the total by themselves in the game that finished with 58 points.
Another of the point total plays from the early window was the 49ers and Saints meeting in the Big Easy. This parlay needed at least 41 points, and the game ended up with 47. Devaughn Vele’s touchdown in the fourth quarter brought the Saints to within a touchdown, at 26-21 and pushed the point total over.
The Seahawks and Steelers’ point total was the closest call for this parlay in the early window. The over needed at least 41 points. The game finished with 48 points but didn’t get to 41 until just under five minutes to go, when Chris Boswell hit a field goal to make it 24-17. The Seahawks added another score, but this leg already had the green.
In addition to those picks against the spread and point total plays, this parlay included two straight-up moneyline picks. They selected the Patriots over the Dolphins and the Bengals over the Jaguars. Both of those games were incredibly close coming down the stretch, but Jake Browning and Drake Maye did enough to get their teams the wins. Maye had three total touchdowns, and the Patriots’ defense sealed the win with a pick of Tua Tagovailoa in the fourth quarter, while Browning scored a late rushing touchdown to get his team the narrow, 31-27 win.
In the late window, this parlay changed tactics and picked two underdogs against the point spread. After playing the favorites early, they took the underdogs late. The two selections were the Colts +2.5 and the Panthers +6.5.
Indy played a back-and-forth game with the visiting Broncos, with both teams trading scores throughout the first half. The Broncos took an eight-point lead at the start of the third quarter, but the Colts answered with a pair of field goals to get to 28-26. Since the parlay had +2.5 points, they were already in a position to win before the game-winning field goal sailed through the uprights and the Colts won outright, 29-28.
The Panthers did not win outright, and in fact, they looked like they could be the pick that unraveled the parlay early in their matchup with the Cardinals. Arizona had a 27-3 lead after scoring to open the second half, and the Panthers hadn’t been able to do much of anything on offense. They finally got going, though, and had three long drives that each ended in a touchdown. While their 21 unanswered points weren’t quite enough to get them the win, they did get this parlay a backdoor cover when Hunter Renfrow scored his second touchdown of the day.
The last two things this parlay needed to secure the bag were two moneyline wins. The bettor took the Eagles to win the Super Bowl rematch, and even after some vintage Mahomes magic, the Eagles held on to get a big road win at Arrowhead Stadium.
The final pick of the day came from the final game of Sunday’s schedule. In the Sunday Night Football matchup, the 13-leg parlay included the Falcons on the moneyline to beat the Vikings.
Even though they were on the road, the Falcons grabbed the initiative right away, kicking three field goals to take a 9-6 lead into halftime. J.J. McCarthy (ankle) and Aaron Jones Sr. (hamstring) both battled injury, and the Vikings’ offense was shut out by the Falcons in the second half. The Falcons leaned heavily on Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier in the ground game, but the story was their non-stop defense.
Defense doesn’t only win championships, apparently, it also wins parlays in this case!
When the clock ran out on Sunday Night Football, this parlay claimed the clean sweep to hit all 13 of their legs and hit at astounding odds. The $10 parlay ran the table and took home over $50K in winnings!
