Best Omarion Hampton prop bet for Raiders vs. Chargers NFL Week 2 on Monday 9/15/25

We get one of the beloved early-season MNF double-headers tonight, and the latter game is slated to be a heated divisional battle between two offenses that are feeling themselves. We’ve got a ton of MNF coverage already here at DKN (see some links to mine below), but I’m interested in hitting the prop bets for the big players: Ladd McConkey, Ashton Jeanty, Brock Bowers, etc.

As suchโ€”below, check out one of my favorite Omarion Hampton props to consider from this late-night tilt.

Omarion Hampton o56.5 total rushing yards (-115)

Omarion Hampton has already emerged as the Chargersโ€™ three-down bell-cow back in 2025: he played 80% of snaps and accounted for 15 carries and 2 catches in Week 1. Those 15 carries went for 48 yards (3.2 YPC) against Kansas Cityโ€”modest on the surfaceโ€”but that KC front ranked top-6 in yards-per-carry allowed (4.1) last season, and Hampton only needs one or two explosive runs to flip the game. He already ran both of LACโ€™s red-zone rushes and ran a route on 80.6% of passing-down snaps, underscoring how much trust Harbaugh has in him near the goal line. Veteran Najee Harris barely played (one carry, one catch), confirming Hamptonโ€™s lead role. He took 15 more total touches than Harris in that opener, a massive gap that makes him the undisputed starter.

At 6โ€™0โ€ณ, 220 lbs, Hampton is a punishing runner with pro speedโ€”he ran a 4.46 40-yard dash (38โ€ณ vertical) at the NFL Combine, and in college he forced 0.41 missed tackles per carry (fourth-best of the 2025 RB class) (90% of those broken tackles were simply running people over). All signs say heโ€™ll churn out chunk yardage against Vegasโ€™s front. The Raiders held New England to just 60 rush yards on 20 tries last week, but rookie Tre Henderson still averaged 5.4 YPC; Vegas allowed 4.4 YPC in 2024.

The Chargers offense, by 2024’s vector, wants to runโ€”the team was 10th in rush yards per game last season and attempted only 30 passes in Week 1โ€”so with Hampton commanding the workload and the favorable matchup, the market has set his rushing line at 56.5 yards (-110 on DK). Plus, Los Angeles is a three-point road favorite, making a ball-control, run-heavy script likely.
