Both the Denver Broncos and the Indianapolis Colts have to be pleased with their Week 1 performances. Denver put on a gritty defensive performance to beat the Tennessee Titans, while the Colts dismantled the Dolphins. Two AFC playoff hopefuls get to pull out the measuring sticks on Sunday to see how far they can go this season. If that doesn’t get you fired up, I can’t help you.
The Broncos are 2.5-point favorites on the road and are -130 on the moneyline. Seattle is a +110 road underdog, with the total set at 43.5 points. There are numerous ways to get involved in the action beyond simply backing a side. This article will look at my three favorite prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for the Week 2 matchup.
Broncos at Colts Best Prop Bets
Daniel Jones Anytime TD Scorer +235
It was a productive Week 1 for Daniel Jones and the Colts, hanging 33 points on the Miami Dolphins while the run game got loose. Not only was Jones efficient as a passer, but he got it going with his legs, running for 26 yards and two scores. He’ll need those legs to get working again this week, facing a fierce Broncos pass rush and elite secondary.
If the Colts have any hope of cracking the Denver defense, Jones needs to get loose on the ground. The former Giant will seek to find the end zone with his legs quite often.
Bo Nix 2+ Passing Touchdowns +120
Although the Broncos secured the win, it was not a pleasant day at the office for Bo Nix. Looking to follow up on a strong rookie year, Nix threw two picks against the Titans in Week 1 compared to just one score. Now he’ll look to get back on track against a Colts secondary that beefed up in the offseason and put the clamps on Tua Tagovailoa last week.
These offenses will get looser than expected. Nix will get back on track with a handful of scores through the air.
R.J. Harvey Under 31.5 Rushing Yards
There was a lot of hype building around Broncos rookie R.J. Harvey this offseason. The second-round pick was expected to have a shot at the lead back job, locked in a battle with new signee J.K. Dobbins. But it was Dobbins who took the lead last Sunday, out-snapping Harvey 40-22 and out-touching him 18-7. I expect that usage share to continue against the Colts.
Harvey won’t always have 70 yards on six carries. If the volume is low, it’s difficult to trust him in this spot against a solid defense.
