Week 2 of the 2025-26 NFL season continues with a great Sunday Night Football matchup between the Atlanta Falcons and the Minnesota Vikings. Bijan Robinson More Than 0.5 Rushing + Receiving TDs
Bijan Robinson is one of the most electric players in football. After a strong rookie season, he really took the league by storm last season. He finished third in the NFL in rushing yards, behind only the legendary Derrick Henry and the record-breaking Saquon Barkley. Robinson is not only a great runner, but an elite receiving threat out of the backfield as well. He showed that in Week 1 with a 50-yard receiving touchdown against the Buccaneers. The Falcons will get the ball into Robinson’s hands by any means possible. Tampa Bay loaded the box and forced the Falcons to throw the ball with their young quarterback. Instead of that causing Robinson to not be involved in the offense, the Falcons just got him the ball in the passing game. He finished the game with six catches for 100 yards and a score. Whether it comes on the ground or through the air, Robinson should find the end zone in this game.
Michael Penix Jr. More Than 229.5 Passing Yards
Michael Penix Jr. had a great Week 1 performance against the Buccaneers. Penix came in and started the final three games of last season, showing a lot of potential. Penix was always a high-volume passer in college, leading the country in passing yards in his last season at Washington. He has shown that he won’t change now that he is in the NFL. Penix wants the ball in his hands with the responsibility of making the big plays on offense. He will throw the ball deep down the field and hit some big shots as well. The Falcons quarterback threw the ball 42 times for 298 yards in the opener against Tampa Bay. He ranked ninth among all quarterbacks in the NFL in adjusted EPA/play in Week 1 and should have another big game against the Vikings.
Justin Jefferson More Than 5.5 Receptions
Justin Jefferson is a top-three receiver in the NFL. Since 2020, nobody in the NFL has had more receiving yards than Justin Jefferson. He has had more than 1,000 yards in every season of his career, even when only playing 10 games in 2023-24. Jefferson had a quiet first game of this season, with quarterback J.J. McCarthy making his NFL debut. As McCarthy gets up to NFL speed, he should get more comfortable, and that will benefit Jefferson. That was evidenced even in Week 1, with McCarthy excelling in the fourth quarter after struggling through the first three quarters. Jefferson had just one catch for four yards in the first half against the Bears. In the second half, Jefferson had three catches for 40 yards and a touchdown. The Falcons play a lot of zone defense, and McCarthy should look to feed Jefferson in the holes of that zone. Jefferson had at least six receptions in 12 of the last 15 games of last season and should hit that number again in this primetime matchup.
