Week 3 of the college football season has a great slate of Saturday games. These are the best player prop bets to consider on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Week 3 Prop Bets
Georgia at Tennessee: Nate Frazier Anytime TD Scorer (-110)
Nate Frazier is the clear RB1 for Georgia this season. He has 25 carries through two games, despite Georgia holding big leads in both contests and sharing touches with others. For this huge game against Tennessee, Georgia should lean heavily on Frazier to carry the load. This is the first big road start of quarterback Gunner Stockton’s career, and Kirby Smart won’t want to push him to do too much. Georgia should rely on its run game and defense to get this win. Once Frazier became Georgia’s primary running back toward the end of last season, he was a touchdown machine. In Georgia’s final five regular-season games, he had seven rushing touchdowns. He has started this season on the same note, with two touchdowns in two games. Frazier should add another one against the Volunteers on Saturday.
Alabama vs. Wisconsin: Germie Bernard Anytime TD Scorer (+105)
Going into this season, Alabama wide receiver Ryan Williams was expected to be one of the biggest stars in college football after a great freshman campaign. However, the veteran Germie Bernard has been the standout pass-catcher for the Crimson Tide so far this season. Williams suffered a concussion in Week 1 against Florida State, which caused him to miss last week’s game against ULM. Williams is questionable for this game, but Kalen DeBoer could elect to keep him out for another week, regardless, since this is a game Alabama should win without him. Bernard should be the go-to guy for Ty Simpson either way. Bernard had eight catches for 156 yards in the opener against Florida State, then had 67 receiving yards and two touchdowns against ULM. The veteran wide receiver should keep the touchdown train rolling against Wisconsin, getting his third score in three games this season.
South Carolina vs. Vanderbilt: LaNorris Sellers 53+ Rushing Yards (-106)
LaNorris Sellers is not just one of the best running quarterbacks in college football; he is one of the best runners, period. After losing key playmakers like Raheim Sanders and Joshua Simon to the NFL, Sellers is still getting a feel for his new targets. Against Virginia Tech, Sellers often kept the ball in his own hands. That isn’t a bad strategy in any situation, but especially when still getting through the gelling process with new teammates. Sellers had some incredible rushing performances last season, carrying the ball at least 10 times in every game but one. In 11 regular-season games, he averaged 59.5 rushing yards per game. In tight games, like last season’s regular-season finale against Clemson, Sellers wants to take matters into his own hands. This should be a competitive game against a good Vanderbilt team, so Sellers should run the ball at least 15 times, ensuring he gets over this rushing prop.
