After plenty of speculation, Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford is finally here! The two boxing greats will face off in an Undisputed Super Middleweight Title fight on Saturday, September 13, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. This event is the third boxing card airing live on Netflix. The Champion, Canelo, is a -175 favorite while Crawford is a +140 underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Let’s look at how the public is betting on this fight.

Betting Splits

Even though Crawford is the underdog, he is getting 54 percent of bets while Canelo is taking 63 percent of the handle bet. Canelo is drawing 46 percent of bets in this historic matchup. Even though Crawford is a former two-division Undisputed Champion, it isn’t shocking to see Canelo getting over 60 percent of the handle. That is because Canelo has been the dominant Champion at 168 pounds for a long time.

This fight has an over/under of 10.5 rounds, with the over being set at -475. It is also -370 for this bout to go the distance and +250 for it to end early. Canelo is +220 to win by unanimous decision as Crawford is +330 to do the same.

Canelo is 63-2-2 and is on a six-fight win streak since his last loss against Dmitry Bivol in May 2022. Crawford has a perfect 41-0 record with 31 knockouts and beat Israil Madrimov in his previous bout, which took place in August 2024. Crawford has only fought once in each of the last five years. Saturday’s fight against Canelo is Crawford’s first fight at Super Middleweight, 14 pounds more than his previous bout.
