Early in the first quarter of the Packers’ game against the Commanders, wide receiver Jayden Reed appeared to haul in a touchdown catch, but the play was nullified by a holding penalty. On the same play, Reed was tackled hard and landed directly on his right shoulder.
He went to the locker room immediately and has since been ruled out for the remainder of the game by the Packers.
Reed had previously dealt with a Jones fracture in his foot during much of training camp but looked strong in Week 1 against the Lions, finishing with three catches for 45 yards and a touchdown. With him sidelined, Romeo Doubs and rookie Matthew Golden will be counted on to take on a larger role in the passing game.
Thankfully for Reed prop backers, because he left the game in the first half, DraftKings’ new Early Exit program is in effect. Anyone who made a single bet on Reed will receive cash credits.
