With a little less than six minutes left in the Thursday night game against the Green Bay Packers, Austin Ekeler went out for a pass. When he saw the ball go to a different receiver, Ekeler immediately tried to change direction and looked to block a defender. Unfortunately, he looked to have suffered a non-contact injury.
Prior to exiting, Ekeler rushed eight times for 17 yards and hauled in two of four targets for seven yards.
If Ekeler misses an extended period of time, Jacory Croskey-Merritt would likely see an increase in snaps, at least until Chris Rodriguez Jr. is able to return to action, while Jeremy McNichols would likely handle most of the passing game work.
