The third fight on tonight’s episode of Dana White’s Contender Series is a Light heavyweight contest between Felipe Franco and Freddy Vidal. Both fighters hold an undefeated record, as Franco is 8-0 with Vidal being 3-0. Franco hasn’t fought since August 2024, while Vidal is 2-0 in 2025 with two knockout victories.

Here is my best bet for Felipe Franco vs. Freddy Vidal on DWCS right here.

Felipe Franco Round 1 (-150)

Felipe Franco trains at the same gym as top five UFC Heavyweight contender, Jailton Almeida. Freddy Vidal is the latest prospect from the legendary Serra Longo MMA gym in Long Island, New York. Even though Franco is making his first appearance in 13 months, he still has five more fights in his MMA career than Vidal.

In this matchup between two heavy hitters, Franco is a -500 favorite while Vidal is a +340 underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook. Franco is only 24 years old, but is the veteran in this bout with his experience. He not only has a perfect 8-0 record, but all eight finishes have come in the first round.

Since Franco is matched up against Vidal, who has limited experience, he has a good chance to continue his first-round streak tonight on DWCS. Vidal has displayed power in the past, but Franco has a versatile skillset and has shown finishing ability on the feet and on the ground.
