The 2025 NFL Regular Season got off to a great start with some great games and dramatic conclusions. While some of the games went as expected, a few had major plot twists. It was a great week of DFS fantasy football to start the season with, and DraftKings offered a full slate of great contests, headlined by the NFL $3.5M FANTASY FOOTBALL MILLIONAIRE [$1M TO 1ST], which gave entries a chance to claim a million-dollar top prize. This week, an entry from rotomwash claimed the top spot in that contest, with a total of 193.92 fantasy points. The high-scoring entry finished almost 10 points ahead of the rest of the field, besting dkpotter05 by 9.2 fantasy points.

Justin Fields forever
This entry from rotomwash took a risk in rolling with Justin Fields (29.54 FPTS) against his former team as he took on the Steelers’ ferocious defense in Week 1. The move paid off, though, since Fields was the top-scoring quarterback on the slate and in just a minuscule 1.8% of entries.
Fields had two rushing touchdowns and a passing score while avoiding turnovers and throwing for 218 yards and running for 48 more yards. Dual-threat quarterbacks always bring a high ceiling, and Fields hit his in Week 1. When you’re building GPP entries and looking for options with huge upside, Fields established himself in Week 1 as a name you have to consider.
No Stacks in sight
Unlike many of the entries we break down in the Millionaire recap each week, this entry didn’t have a single stack, showing there are multiple ways to assemble a winning lineup.
The stackless build paid up in the backfield for Bijan Robinson (27.4 FPTS) and De’Von Achane (16.5 FPTS). Robinson had an early score for the Falcons and Achane had a late touchdown for the Dolphins, although ultimately both their teams took a loss in Week 1.
The entry also included an expensive receiver with Puka Nacua (26.1 FPTS), who was in and out of the lineup with injuries but still racked up over 25 fantasy points despite a low-scoring contest.
A trio of WR who stepped up
Behind Puka, the entry from rotomwash used three cheaper receivers, who stepped up with monster games, utilizing the FLEX spot to go with a four-receiver formation.
In the early game, the entry selected rookie standout Emeka Egbuka (23.6 FPTS), who was a popular play for a good reason, scoring a pair of touchdowns in his NFL debut for the Bucs.
In the late game, the two receivers included in the build went head-to-head as the Seahawks took on the 49ers in an NFC West clash. From Seattle, the entry included Jaxon Smith-Njigba (23.4 FPTS), while from the visiting team, Rickie Pearsall (17.8 FPTS) was the selection. Pearsall had to step up after both George Kittle and Jauan Jennings left with injuries, and the second-year receiver rose to the challenge, finishing with 108 receiving yards and helping the 49ers to a narrow road win.
The other big contributor from the late window for this high-scoring entry was the Broncos DST (14 FPTS), which held the Titans to just four field goals on the day while forcing two turnovers and racking up six sacks.
Juwan-na win?
Even though Fields was a key pivot play, the boldest play from rotomwash in Week 1 was going cheap at tight end and playing Juwan Johnson (15.6 FPTS) of the Saints. Johnson was the top-scoring tight end of the entire week and was only owned in 0.8% of entries in this Millionaire contest.
Johnson almost hauled in a game-tying score in the closing seconds of the Saints’ loss to the Cardinals, but he still finished with eight catches for 76 yards. He was on the field constantly and heavily targeted by Spencer Rattler, making him a name to watch going forward if you need a value play at the position.
He definitely paid off for rotomwash in Week 1!
