The Bears are hosting the Vikings for Week 1’s edition of Monday Night Football. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Minnesota is favored by 1.5 points and this game carries a total of 43.5 points.

Moore finished with 98 catches for 966 receiving yards last season while garnering a 26.6% target share, including 20 targets over 20 yards. The wideout ranked fifth in YAC (607) and Moore closed the season in strong form, with at least 68 receiving yards in five of his final eight games.
Moore did this damage despite fighting for targets with Keenan Allen, who led Chicago with a 27.3% target share last season. Now, the veteran is back with the Chargers and with Allen’s 121 targets from last season missing, Moore should naturally see more volume. Moore played two games without Allen last season and in those tilts, Moore saw 10 targets in each game and he averaged seven receptions for 65.5 receiving yards per game.
On top of Allen being out of the picture, the Bears are expected to be a rejuvenated offense with Ben Johnson as the franchise’s new head coach. Johnson is coming over from the Lions, where he was the team’s offensive coordinator and under him last season, Detroit easily led the NFL in scoring at 33.1 PPG. Ranking second was the Bills at 30.6. Albeit it being preseason football, the Bears notably were PFF’s highest-graded offense in the preseason this summer with Johnson at the helm.
Moore should be in store for a big season and Monday’s matchup vs. the Vikings is a great spot for the receiver to start his campaign on a high note. Last season, 71.6% of Moore’s routes came out wide and Minnesota notably surrendered the second-most receiving yards in the league to players who lined up wide (2,029). When facing the Vikings in Week 12 last season, Moore caught all seven of his targets for a season-high 106 yards and a touchdown.
