UPDATE: Kittle will undergo an MRI.

UPDATE: Kittle will not return with a hamstring injury.

In the second quarter of Sunday’s Week 1 game, TE George Kittle exited the game and went to the blue medical tent. After exiting the tent, Kittle headed to the sideline with his helmet in his hand and a baseball cap on. He has not returned as of yet. There is no mention as of yet as to what the issue is.

Kittle was causing havoc in the Seahawks’ secondary before leaving the game, having already hauled in four catches for 25 yards and a touchdown. If Kittle doesn’t return, Luke Farrell is next in line to carry the torch at tight end for San Francisco. Kittle would be a huge loss for the 49ers’ offense, but we will keep you updated on his situation.
